Campaign Book

This A5 booklet demonstrates the collections mood and theme. It includes adapted versions of the ad campaign cards, alongside an front cover illustration (which has not yet been used within the collection). This illustration takes the Ukiyo-e artwork style head filled with our collections logo, a volcano. 
Inside pages also include photography of the collection and additional prints which we have used.

Invite

The show invite again uses the ad campaign, each card providing a different piece of information. They are held in a collection print case.

Swing Tags

I decided to use the campaign as the swing tags, as they are initially designed to be tarot cards. The reverse side uses one of our collection prints plus the logo. The prices are located at the bottom of each card.

Poster Campaign

I used the 5 illustrations, to represent each letter of Kenzo. I was inspired by the reflection and repeated images used on playing cards, in addition to surrealist artwork. To portray the mood of the collection, I illustrated volcanoes, lava crying eyes, psychic hands, traditional Japanese shoes worn with tracksuit trousers and a man (in the style of Ukiyo-e artwork) wearing our collections logo sweater. 
These A1 posters are designed to promote the brand via billboards, public transport etc.

Kenzo Capsule Collection

Our first project set for second year, was collaboration project. Here we were placed in groups (one person from each specialism) to create a capsule collection for a brand of our choice. We decided to use Kenzo as our designer, creating menswear for fall/winter 2014.

As a communication student, I decided to focus my input for the collection on the ad campaign, season book, invite and swing tag.

As our inspiration for this collection was natural disasters, focussing on volcanic eruptions combined with traditional Japanese tarot card artwork, Ukiyoe.

Continuing on from Kenzo's collaboration with Toiletpaper Magazine, I wanted to give the essence of surrealism. Using our inspirations as a starting point, I have clashed each element as distantly as possible, portraying the season's mood.
